로마서(Rom) 1장
21. 하나님을 알되 하나님을 영화롭게도 아니하며 감사하지도 아니하고 오히려 그 생각이 허망하여지며 미련한 마음이 어두워졌나니
21. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
22. 스스로 지혜 있다 하나 어리석게 되어
22. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools
23. 썩어지지 아니하는 하나님의 영광을 썩어질 사람과 새와 짐승과 기어다니는 동물 모양의 우상으로 바꾸었느니라
23. and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.
24. 그러므로 하나님께서 그들을 마음의 정욕대로 더러움에 내버려 두사 그들의 몸을 서로 욕되게 하게 하셨으니
24. Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.
25. 이는 그들이 하나님의 진리를 거짓 것으로 바꾸어 피조물을 조물주보다 더 경배하고 섬김이라 주는 곧 영원히 찬송할 이시로다 아멘
25. They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

로마서(Rom) 6장
6. 우리가 알거니와 우리의 옛 사람이 예수와 함께 십자가에 못 박힌 것은 죄의 몸이 죽어 다시는 우리가 죄에게 종 노릇 하지 아니하려 함이니
6. For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin—
7. 이는 죽은 자가 죄에서 벗어나 의롭다 하심을 얻었음이라
7. because anyone who has died has been set free from sin.
8. 만일 우리가 그리스도와 함께 죽었으면 또한 그와 함께 살 줄을 믿노니
8. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.
9. 이는 그리스도께서 죽은 자 가운데서 살아나셨으매 다시 죽지 아니하시고 사망이 다시 그를 주장하지 못할 줄을 앎이로라
9. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him.
10. 그가 죽으심은 죄에 대하여 단번에 죽으심이요 그가 살아 계심은 하나님께 대하여 살아 계심이니
10. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.
11. 이와 같이 너희도 너희 자신을 죄에 대하여는 죽은 자요 그리스도 예수 안에서 하나님께 대하여는 살아 있는 자로 여길지어다
11. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
12. 그러므로 너희는 죄가 너희 죽을 몸을 지배하지 못하게 하여 몸의 사욕에 순종하지 말고
12. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires.
13. 또한 너희 지체를 불의의 무기로 죄에게 내주지 말고 오직 너희 자신을 죽은 자 가운데서 다시 살아난 자 같이 하나님께 드리며 너희 지체를 의의 무기로 하나님께 드리라
13. Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.
14. 죄가 너희를 주장하지 못하리니 이는 너희가 법 아래에 있지 아니하고 은혜 아래에 있음이라
14. For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.

요한복음(Joh) 6장
53. 예수께서 이르시되 내가 진실로 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 인자의 살을 먹지 아니하고 인자의 피를 마시지 아니하면 너희 속에 생명이 없느니라
53. Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.
54. 내 살을 먹고 내 피를 마시는 자는 영생을 가졌고 마지막 날에 내가 그를 다시 살리리니
54. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.
55. 내 살은 참된 양식이요 내 피는 참된 음료로다
55. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.
56. 내 살을 먹고 내 피를 마시는 자는 내 안에 거하고 나도 그의 안에 거하나니
56. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them.
57. 살아 계신 아버지께서 나를 보내시매 내가 아버지로 말미암아 사는 것 같이 나를 먹는 그 사람도 나로 말미암아 살리라
57. Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me.
58. 이것은 하늘에서 내려온 떡이니 조상들이 먹고도 죽은 그것과 같지 아니하여 이 떡을 먹는 자는 영원히 살리라
58. This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.”
61. 예수께서 스스로 제자들이 이 말씀에 대하여 수군거리는 줄 아시고 이르시되 이 말이 너희에게 걸림이 되느냐
61. Aware that his disciples were grumbling about this, Jesus said to them, “Does this offend you?
62. 그러면 너희는 인자가 이전에 있던 곳으로 올라가는 것을 본다면 어떻게 하겠느냐
62. Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before!
63. 살리는 것은 영이니 육은 무익하니라 내가 너희에게 이른 말은 영이요 생명이라
63. The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life.

마태복음(Mat) 9장
1. 예수께서 배에 오르사 건너가 본 동네에 이르시니
1. Jesus stepped into a boat, crossed over and came to his own town.
2. 침상에 누운 중풍병자를 사람들이 데리고 오거늘 예수께서 그들의 믿음을 보시고 중풍병자에게 이르시되 작은 자야 안심하라 네 죄 사함을 받았느니라
2. Some men brought to him a paralyzed man, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.”
3. 어떤 서기관들이 속으로 이르되 이 사람이 신성을 모독하도다
3. At this, some of the teachers of the law said to themselves, “This fellow is blaspheming!”
4. 예수께서 그 생각을 아시고 이르시되 너희가 어찌하여 마음에 악한 생각을 하느냐
4. Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said, “Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts?
5. 네 죄 사함을 받았느니라 하는 말과 일어나 걸어가라 하는 말 중에 어느 것이 쉽겠느냐
5. Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’?
6. 그러나 인자가 세상에서 죄를 사하는 권능이 있는 줄을 너희로 알게 하려 하노라 하시고 중풍병자에게 말씀하시되 일어나 네 침상을 가지고 집으로 가라 하시니
6. But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the paralyzed man, “Get up, take your mat and go home.”
7. 그가 일어나 집으로 돌아가거늘
7. Then the man got up and went home.
8. 무리가 보고 두려워하며 이런 권능을 사람에게 주신 하나님께 영광을 돌리니라
8. When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God, who had given such authority to man.
9. 예수께서 그 곳을 떠나 지나가시다가 마태라 하는 사람이 세관에 앉아 있는 것을 보시고 이르시되 나를 따르라 하시니 일어나 따르니라
9. As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me,” he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him.
10. 예수께서 마태의 집에서 앉아 음식을 잡수실 때에 많은 세리와 죄인들이 와서 예수와 그의 제자들과 함께 앉았더니
10. While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with him and his disciples.
11. 바리새인들이 보고 그의 제자들에게 이르되 어찌하여 너희 선생은 세리와 죄인들과 함께 잡수시느냐
11. When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”
12. 예수께서 들으시고 이르시되 건강한 자에게는 의사가 쓸 데 없고 병든 자에게라야 쓸 데 있느니라
12. On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.
13. 너희는 가서 내가 긍휼을 원하고 제사를 원하지 아니하노라 하신 뜻이 무엇인지 배우라 나는 의인을 부르러 온 것이 아니요 죄인을 부르러 왔노라 하시니라
13. But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
14. 그 때에 요한의 제자들이 예수께 나아와 이르되 우리와 바리새인들은 금식하는데 어찌하여 당신의 제자들은 금식하지 아니하나이까
14. Then John’s disciples came and asked him, “How is it that we and the Pharisees fast often, but your disciples do not fast?”
15. 예수께서 그들에게 이르시되 혼인집 손님들이 신랑과 함께 있을 동안에 슬퍼할 수 있느냐 그러나 신랑을 빼앗길 날이 이르리니 그 때에는 금식할 것이니라
15. Jesus answered, “How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while he is with them? The time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast.
16. 생베 조각을 낡은 옷에 붙이는 자가 없나니 이는 기운 것이 그 옷을 당기어 해어짐이 더하게 됨이요
16. “No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse.
17. 새 포도주를 낡은 가죽 부대에 넣지 아니하나니 그렇게 하면 부대가 터져 포도주도 쏟아지고 부대도 버리게 됨이라 새 포도주는 새 부대에 넣어야 둘이 다 보전되느니라
17. Neither do people pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”
18. 예수께서 이 말씀을 하실 때에 한 관리가 와서 절하며 이르되 내 딸이 방금 죽었사오나 오셔서 그 몸에 손을 얹어 주소서 그러면 살아나겠나이다 하니
18. While he was saying this, a synagogue leader came and knelt before him and said, “My daughter has just died. But come and put your hand on her, and she will live.”
19. 예수께서 일어나 따라가시매 제자들도 가더니
19. Jesus got up and went with him, and so did his disciples.
20. 열두 해 동안이나 혈루증으로 앓는 여자가 예수의 뒤로 와서 그 겉옷 가를 만지니
20. Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak.
21. 이는 제 마음에 그 겉옷만 만져도 구원을 받겠다 함이라
21. She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.”
22. 예수께서 돌이켜 그를 보시며 이르시되 딸아 안심하라 네 믿음이 너를 구원하였다 하시니 여자가 그 즉시 구원을 받으니라
22. Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment.
23. 예수께서 그 관리의 집에 가사 피리 부는 자들과 떠드는 무리를 보시고
23. When Jesus entered the synagogue leader’s house and saw the noisy crowd and people playing pipes,
24. 이르시되 물러가라 이 소녀가 죽은 것이 아니라 잔다 하시니 그들이 비웃더라
24. he said, “Go away. The girl is not dead but asleep.” But they laughed at him.
25. 무리를 내보낸 후에 예수께서 들어가사 소녀의 손을 잡으시매 일어나는지라
25. After the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up.
26. 그 소문이 그 온 땅에 퍼지더라
26. News of this spread through all that region.
27. 예수께서 거기에서 떠나가실새 두 맹인이 따라오며 소리 질러 이르되 다윗의 자손이여 우리를 불쌍히 여기소서 하더니
27. As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!”
28. 예수께서 집에 들어가시매 맹인들이 그에게 나아오거늘 예수께서 이르시되 내가 능히 이 일 할 줄을 믿느냐 대답하되 주여 그러하오이다 하니
28. When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” “Yes, Lord,” they replied.
29. 이에 예수께서 그들의 눈을 만지시며 이르시되 너희 믿음대로 되라 하시니
29. Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”;
30. 그 눈들이 밝아진지라 예수께서 엄히 경고하시되 삼가 아무에게도 알리지 말라 하셨으나
30. and their sight was restored. Jesus warned them sternly, “See that no one knows about this.”
31. 그들이 나가서 예수의 소문을 그 온 땅에 퍼뜨리니라
31. But they went out and spread the news about him all over that region.
32. 그들이 나갈 때에 귀신 들려 말 못하는 사람을 예수께 데려오니
32. While they were going out, a man who was demon-possessed and could not talk was brought to Jesus.
33. 귀신이 쫓겨나고 말 못하는 사람이 말하거늘 무리가 놀랍게 여겨 이르되 이스라엘 가운데서 이런 일을 본 적이 없다 하되
33. And when the demon was driven out, the man who had been mute spoke. The crowd was amazed and said, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.”
34. 바리새인들은 이르되 그가 귀신의 왕을 의지하여 귀신을 쫓아낸다 하더라
34. But the Pharisees said, “It is by the prince of demons that he drives out demons.”
35. 예수께서 모든 도시와 마을에 두루 다니사 그들의 회당에서 가르치시며 천국 복음을 전파하시며 모든 병과 모든 약한 것을 고치시니라
35. Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.
36. 무리를 보시고 불쌍히 여기시니 이는 그들이 목자 없는 양과 같이 고생하며 기진함이라
36. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
37. 이에 제자들에게 이르시되 추수할 것은 많되 일꾼이 적으니
37. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.
38. 그러므로 추수하는 주인에게 청하여 추수할 일꾼들을 보내 주소서 하라 하시니라
38. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
