Genesis chapter 24 - 56~58
56.But he said to them, "Do not detain me,
now that the LORD has granted success to
my journey. Send me on my way
so I may go to my master."
56.그 사람이 그들에게 이르되 나를 만류하지 마소서
여호와께서 내게 형통한 길을 주셨으니 나를 보내어
내 주인에게로 돌아가게 하소서
57.Then they said, "Let's call the girl
and ask her about it."
57.그들이 이르되 우리가 소녀를 불러
그에게 물으리라 하고
58.So they called Rebekah and asked her,
"Will you go with this man?"
"I will go," she said.
58.리브가를 불러 그에게 이르되
네가 이 사람과 함께 가려느냐 그가 대답하되
가겠나이다

Genesis chapter 24 - 1~4
1.Abraham was now old and well advanced
in years, and the LORD had blessed him
in every way.
1.아브라함이 나이가 많아 늙었고 여호와께서
그에게 범사에 복을 주셨더라
2.He said to the chief servant in his household,
the one in charge of all that he had,
"Put your hand under my thigh.
2.아브라함이 자기 집 모든 소유를 맡은 늙은 종에게
이르되 청하건대 내 허벅지 밑에 네 손을 넣으라
3.I want you to swear by the LORD,
the God of heaven and the God of earth,
that you will not get a wife for my son
from the daughters of the Canaanites,
among whom I am living,
3.내가 너에게 하늘의 하나님, 땅의 하나님이신
여호와를 가리켜 맹세하게 하노니 너는 내가
거주하는 이 지방 가나안 족속의 딸 중에서
내 아들을 위하여 아내를 택하지 말고
4.but will go to my country and my own
relatives and get a wife for my son Isaac."
4.내 고향 내 족속에게로 가서 내 아들 이삭을
위하여 아내를 택하라

58.So they called Rebekah and asked her,

20.So Jacob served seven years to get Rachel,
but they seemed like only a few days to him
because of his love for her.
20.야곱이 라헬을 위하여 칠 년 동안 라반을
섬겼으나 그를 사랑하는 까닭에 칠 년을
며칠 같이 여겼더라

Genesis chapter 2 - 24
24.For this reason a man will leave his father
and mother and be united to his wife, and
they will become one flesh.
24.이러므로 남자가 부모를 떠나 그의 아내와
합하여 둘이 한 몸을 이룰지로다
25.The man and his wife were both naked,
and they felt no shame.
25.아담과 그의 아내 두 사람이 벌거벗었으나
부끄러워하지 아니하니라

Genesis chapter 1 - 27
27.So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.
27.하나님이 자기 형상 곧 하나님의 형상대로
사람을 창조하시되 남자와 여자를 창조하시고
28.God blessed them and said to them,
"Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the
earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the
sea and the birds of the air and over every
living creature that moves on the ground."
28.하나님이 그들에게 복을 주시며 하나님이
그들에게 이르시되 생육하고 번성하여 땅에
충만하라, 땅을 정복하라, 바다의 물고기와
하늘의 새와 땅에 움직이는 모든 생물을
다스리라 하시니라
Genesis chapter 2 - 20
20.So the man gave names to all the
livestock, the birds of the air and all the
beasts of the field. But for Adam no suitable
helper was found.
20.아담이 모든 가축과 공중의 새와 들의 모든
짐승에게 이름을 주니라 아담이 돕는 배필이
없으므로
21.So the LORD God caused the man to fall
into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping,
he took one of the man's ribs and closed up
the place with flesh.
21.여호와 하나님이 아담을 깊이 잠들게 하시니
잠들매 그가 그 갈빗대 하나를 취하고
살로 대신 채우시고
22.Then the LORD God made a woman
from the rib he had taken out of the man,
and he brought her to the man.
22.여호와 하나님이 아담에게서 취하신
그 갈빗대로 여자를 만드시고 그를 아담에게로
이끌어 오시니
23.The man said,
"This is now bone of my bones and flesh
of my flesh; she shall be called 'woman, '
for she was taken out of man."
23.아담이 이르되 이는 내 뼈 중의 뼈요
살 중의 살이라 이것을 남자에게서 취하였은즉
여자라 부르리라 하니라
24.For this reason a man will leave his father
and mother and be united to his wife, and

24.이러므로 남자가 부모를 떠나 그의 아내와
합하여 둘이 한 몸을 이룰지로다
25.The man and his wife were both naked,
and they felt no shame.
*혼인의 신성성 (살전 4:3~6)
Thessalonians 1 chapter 4 - 3~6
3.It is God's will that you should be sanctified:
that you should avoid sexual immorality;
3.하나님의 뜻은 이것이니 너희의 거룩함이라
곧 음란을 버리고
4.that each of you should learn to control
his own body in a way that is holy
and honorable,
4.각각 거룩함과 존귀함으로 자기의 아내
대할 줄을 알고
5.not in passionate lust like the heathen,
who do not know God;
5.하나님을 모르는 이방인과 같이 색욕을 따르지 말고
6.and that in this matter no one should wrong
his brother or take advantage of him. The Lord
will punish men for all such sins, as we have
already told you and warned you.
6.이 일에 분수를 넘어서 형제를 해하지 말라
이는 우리가 너희에게 미리 말하고 증언한 것과 같이
이 모든 일에 주께서 신원하여 주심이라
*혼인의 귀중성 (히13:4)
Hebrews chapter 13 - 4
4.Marriage should be honored by all,
and the marriage bed kept pure, for
God will judge the adulterer and all
the sexually immoral.
4.모든 사람은 결혼을 귀히 여기고
침소를 더럽히지 않게 하라
음행하는 자들과 간음하는 자들을
하나님이 심판하시리라
